Today, I’m sharing my food delivery experience for Beefar’s x BRUNO #FarmToHome 限定全體驗燒肉特盛(4人用) (limited edition yakiniku special (for 4 persons)) which I noticed while scrolling on my Facebook.
The 4 person set costs HK$1,680 and it comes inclusive of a Bruno multifunctional compact hot plate (which retails at HK$998) – which was what really drawn me into ordering this package and with free delivery to most parts of Hong Kong. For the Bruno multifunctional compact hot plate, you can choose either white or red – I chose red.

Ordering process
The ordering process for this particular food delivery experience left much to be desired in terms of organization. Rather than utilizing a streamlined online platform, orders had to be placed through WhatsApp. While this may not have been a major inconvenience, the response time was frustratingly slow. It took me over three days of waiting before I was finally able to successfully place my order. I had to repeatedly inquire about payment instructions in order to secure my order, but the responses I received the following day only acknowledged the delay in food delivery, without providing any guidance on how to make the payment. It took three attempts and several days for me to finally receive their payment details and complete my order.
Additionally, due to the overwhelming popularity of the package, the delivery itself took around a week from the time the order was placed. This extended wait time added to the overall dissatisfaction with the ordering process.
In summary, the lack of efficiency and delayed responses during the ordering process, coupled with the significant wait time for delivery, left much room for improvement in this food delivery experience.
Food quality
Each item was carefully vacuum-sealed, ensuring its freshness was preserved. As I indulged in the meal, it became evident that the food surpassed my expectations and truly delivered restaurant-quality flavors. The cuts of meat were wonderfully generous, and the seafood was exceptionally fresh, leaving no doubt about its quality. The scallops and squid were particularly outstanding, bursting with delectable flavors that required no additional sauce. Every bite carried a distinct freshness that truly elevated the entire dining experience.
As you can see in the photo above, the amount of food showcased actually exceeded the portion for four people. To accommodate my party of six, I added an additional two-person set, which turned out to be even more generous than the four-person set. The best part was that this larger set came at a discounted price of HK$666. With the newfound addition of the Bruno stove to my kitchen, I am eagerly looking forward to ordering from Beefar’s x BRUNO again in the future.
